Hi.
I'm wondering whether you guys could recommend the best guitar amp for around £300-£400 for me as I'm struggling?

I'm looking to regularly practice and play the odd gig. I also want to run a chain of effects through it too!

Thanks.

Look on eBay for some nice 2nd hand combos.

Hard to say without knowing what genres you play.

Laney vc would be good, or see if you can get a Vox Ac15.

This. Laney VC15 if it has to be new, or a used Laney VC30.

Would the vox ac15 be loud enough for band practices do you think??

Yeah.

Or check out the laney vc30.

Yeah.

Or check out the laney vc50.

That's quite a different sound I think. Not necessarily wrong, but far more gain than he'll likely need. Besides, a VC30 is plenty loud already.

Peavy Vypyr Tube should fit your needs nicely.

Not the worst amp to have on one's brain.

Peavey classic 50 2x12 has good headroom and is more than loud enough too, and it's USA built. You see them for like £350 now and then.

Of course, how else would you get the br00tlz tone the Beatles had?
