Nothing new here. It’s pretty well established that the Valvetronix modeling is great for just about anything but the br00tz. That said, $200 isn’t a bad deal for a unit like that.

vox tonelabs pretty good. also, i heard the 12ax7 actually changes the dynamics when switched out.

i thought the mesa model sounded like ass, and the 5150 didn't sound that bad at all.

I wondered why the frisbee was getting bigger, then it hit me.

I doubt we'll see anything that can give the Axe a run for its money for a long time.

Isn't the tonelab a multifx pedal with the amp sims like the PODs and RPs?

sounds very fake to me, like all vox modellers. imo, vox modelling is even worse than line 6 spiders.

The ST doesn't sound any better than other current multifx and has less features at the same price point. It's a nice unit, but not a contender for me.

Not sure what you meant by the title as the ST has been around for a while. The only thing "next" about it might be your plan to purchase.

i gotta say youre wrong about that. it does the Brootz pretty awsome actually you just gotta set it right!

Heres a song my drummer wrote but i recorded guitars on it just to give a sense of how its high gain models sound

The only real answer to the SG vs Les Paul debate is to get a Flying V and laugh at all the suckers who don't have one.

if you embrace inaccurate intonation it can be quite arousing.
