Im talking about glitch effects commonly used in hardcore/metal
i cant seem to figure out how to create them. i cant create vocal glitch effects but not effects in the music itsself. i just started getting serious with my recordings and i would like to know any little tricks out there to improve the quality of my recordings.

im using direct in guitar modelling, and programming drums in EZDRUMMER through cubase le 4.

thanks for the help!

its all post-editing. In the software used by the producer, namely in hardcore/metal so you are almost absolutely thinking of Joey Sturgis.
Take files, mix them up, add extra effects. For a challenge, make the intro to "Nerve Endings" by The Color Morale. sick.

hope this helps!

Or Woe, Is Me...which is what it sounds like hes referring to to me....but either way they use alot of guitar clipping which they double track guitars and one of the tracks they just use a cut tool to split it/ move it around to their liking.
