Hi I have a problem!

Cubase will run for a few minutes then the audio will hang with the familiar 'Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr' sound which continues until I hard close the program from the task manager or unplug the guitar rig 4 pedal.
It's not like the whole audio system is hanging, once cubase is closed other applications play audio fine.

This CANNOT continue, it is driving me insane.

It dosen't really matter how many tracks I have going at the same time i cubase. It will crash just as easily if I have 2 midi tracks and 2 audio tracks or 10 audio tracks and 8 midi tracks.

I record guitars/bass using Guitar rig 4 pedal and guitar rig 4 VST-plugin in cubase. And I record drums in midi and using the EZdrummer and Addictive drums VST-plugin.

Help, please.
But it does not do this when the guitar rig pedal is not plugged in?

Sounding like a driver issue to me. Have you installed the latest driver?

What version of Cubase are you using? If you're using an older version of Cubase, for instance, it might not "like" some of the newer software that is written with newer versions of software in mind.

Could I get some more talent in the monitors, please?

I know it sounds crazy, but try to learn to inhale your voice. www.thebelcantotechnique.com
