ots. today is the 2nd of november, the 'day of the death' in mexico.

garlic necklace all year long, for keeping every wrong away.
don't want to reincarnate again or write another storm of songs
that leads nowhere to stay. this heart's a catatomb of wishes
from the beginning of days with the unhealed serpent bite stitches
that brought me to this mess, made me have crooked teeth
and a moldy throat; i keep nightmares inside my lungs,
skulls made of sugar. i write sunny sonnets and rotten rhymes
in attempts to remember
where i was buried last november.

I loved those lines. Actually, liked all of this. Good flow, good rhythm, pretty thoughts with layered emotions, etc.

And speaking of all souls' day, I should probably go get the bread.
