Does it accept 1/4 jacks? If not you'd need a 1/4 - xlr cable. It should work, but depending on whether the input impedance is suitable for guitar it might not sound great.

You say "a couple of other great tools for signal processing". De-esser, eq and tube emulation? Don't think for a minute that's guitar tube amp emulation. $50 is cheap, but not cheap when you realise the hassle of setting it up outweighs the sonic benefits.

I'm running into a tube amp so that I've got off the bat. I think it's worth a shot. If it doesn't work out, I've got many a mic that would love to feed it.
