So I'm redoing my JEM build from this summer and I'm having trouble removing the paint from inside of the handle grip and from the "serrated" segment under the trem.
Any ideas from the community here?

are you using sandpaper? try wrapping the sandpaper around something round, such as a wood dowel or even a pringles can or something.

or if you happen to have any drum sticks, they'd prabably be a good size for it

Yeah, I've been trying the dowel for in the handle (monkey grip) but a pringles can would be way too big. The "serrated" trem cavity is giving me a bit of trouble.

What's generally the protocol for the pickup cavities in refinishing?

the cavities will not be seen on the outside so i just paint them too but because they lie lower then the rest, the paint will become less clear in there but it doesnt really matter as i said
