I was looking learning some screams in the style of Dustin Kensrue, but I don't have a clue about techniques or anything. It's not something I'm planning to use throughout music, I'm not that fond of screaming when it's over done, but I just need something extra for the climaxes of songs, as I have quite a weak voice.
I'm willing to put the the effort in to learn, but I don't really know which of the many techniques to learn. To me, there is that many techniques that different people use and teach that I don't even know how to start.
I just wanted to know, if possible, could anybody work out the technique he uses? I'm not planning being a carbon copy of his style or anything, I just think it's a good place to start using influence of someone.
Anyway, here's a live video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aoDDPg3ol10&feature=related
It'd be great if someone could give me a hand!

Its mainly just yelling but adding in a bit of vocal fry.

In other words, look into fry screaming.

Hmm, I never thought of fry, I just thought it was more a metal thing.
Would you say the same for these too?
