Simple enough question.

I'm really fond of 6/8, because I like that waltz-y, swaying feel. I really dig 7/8, too, because it keeps you on your toes, but isn't so foreign that you can't find a rhythm to it.

Explain what you like about your favorite time sigs.

I like the 3/4 feel more than the 6/8 feel, just seems more..heavy. Not in the metal sense, just more solid than the swing of the 6/8.

Also 5/4 is fun to write in, and really easy to count. 12/8 makes some interesting patterns, but I find it hard to get a feel of when I'm just playing.

Lately I've been digging 3/4 or 4/4 with a triplet feel. I also like 7/8.
I pride myself on my humility.

7/8. but you didn't include it.

I've always had a soft spot for 6/8, but I don't really think any one is better than the other, they're just different sorts of feels its like saying one color is better than another.

x/4 is different from x/8. Damnit, this is a musician website, learn that 3 =/= 2.
