Hi all,

I retubed my HRD, swapped in a retube kit from Eurotubes. When I was biasing the amp, my multimeter reading was jumping all over the place. I got the reading to about 71, but then it would jump to a whole heap of random readings before going back to 71.

Is this just my multimeter playing up? Is it safe to say my bias is around 71 and it's nothing to worry about?

Cheers!

Make sure your hand is very steady and the probe is securely touching the test point.
also make sure that the correct setting is selected.

Didn't you say that you had a stuffed fox that you would occasionally fuck?

Well I used the only setting that would get a reading so I'm guessing it was the right one?

You're measuring for DC voltage in the millivolts. If it was on the wrong setting then some numbers might flash around as it tries to read it.
