Haven't used this site in a while so decided to update it and considering I released my second album last night I figured I might as well do a little promoting.

I've been doing work under the Ghola moniker for over a year now, but only recently after a black metal band I was a part of fell through did I really decide to run with it. I release a new piece of work every season, thus far I have completed the Winter 2011 release titled "God Is In His Heaven, All Is Right With The World" (in actuality this was part of said BM project but I simply remixed and added a few more tracks) and of course the Spring 2011 release "Apotheosis". It's not exactly easy to describe what Ghola is, but I always label it as Blackened Drone/Ambient/Noise and I've had people draw comparisons between myself and Sunn O))) and Nurse With Wound which is extremely flattering. Anyway, if anyone's into this sort of stuff, interested in strange sounds or just want to give it a try, you can listen to a handful of tracks on my Soundcloud, or like my Facebook page and download the albums from the 'info' section. Thanks.

I'm not so much a fan of the noise genre, but the beginning half and the end bit of Nothing Ventured, Nothing Gained was intense haha. Ode To Dispair and The Ninth Curse also have good atmospheres to them, the latter (or both to some extent) reminding me of the game Amnesia haha.

Thanks man, atmosphere is what this sort of stuff is all about. Glad you liked some of it.

Cool stuff! Really not what I usually listen too, but it's interesting. Ode to Despair did have a cool sound and feel. Gave you a FB like too.

Would you mind repaying the favour and giving us a listen and a like on Facebook here:
