Hello!

When I was a child, between 7 - 10 years old (around year 1975), I've heard a blues song few times. I was unable to understand the lyrics in English at this time and I kept only the music in my mind.
I never had the chance to hear it anymore after these years.

I attempted to write what I could remind this music on a score with the Noteflight web site. Here is what I remember:

(Use the play button at the bottom or on the right corner of the page to listen to it).

Do you have an idea of what it could be?

Regards,

Caniveau Royal.

Ugh...
I generally have a good memory of that era but damn is this hard.

Eventually the half-tone minor-major root shift reminds me of "Layla" and Loving Spoonful's "Summer in The City".

No other clues ? Like is it a guitar riff ? Electric ? Acoustic ? Bass ?
Or is it the vocals tune ?
What other instruments do you remember were in that song ?
Where did you here it ?

All along this path I tread
My heart betrays my weary head
With nothing but my soul to save
From the cradle to the grave.

Thanks for your advices!

It was at least an electric guitar but it could even be a bass because I remember the sound was very low.

It's not a well known song I fear. I wonder if I will find it somewhere one day.

Regards.
