Sounds cool Ola. You going to be using the Satan live for Scarpoint? What kind of mods besides the noise gate did you have Mike do?

I want to hear what you guys think of my tone in general. This was recorded as a demo for a full song that I'll be recording in a bit, mainly so I didn't lose the idea for the solo!

I promised I would post this amp video here since a lot of you guys requested it.
I was using the JSX model for this test.
Enjoy!

Awesome!. I love the humor you've been adding to your demos lately. We look forward to more from you. Obviously, you have a ton of them on Youtube and I'm not going to list out all of them - but I'll think of something.

This is not the correct thread for this. If you want to post something as a demo then follow the guidelines and tell us what it is you are doing. Soundcloud has not worked for me for months for some reason. Here is the correct thread to post your question in.

Egnater Vengeance Demo

Egnater Vengeance/ Epiphone Les Paul Standard / Recording Line Out on Vengeance / Multiple Demos / Blktiger0

The line out has nothing to do with the cab, so I didn't post it there, but I use a Jet City JCA24S. The pickups in my Les Paul are Seymour Duncans. Pearly Gates in the Bridge and AlNiCo II Pro in the Neck.

My signal path is as follows:

Guitar> Crybaby Wah > DigiTech Hardwire TL-2 > Vengeance

in the loop I have:

MXR 10-Band EQ > ISP Decimator

Each clip's description will give more specific information on the clip, such as effects used, etc. They are named after whatever Tone Setting I used from the Manual. There are pics of the presets on my page here:

Those were all recorded with two ambient mics. The amp was cranked, not mic'd or run line out, and you hear me MUCH MORE than the other guitarist (who is using a Mesa Rectoverb). It's a good show of it in a Live setting, although our playing was very sloppy that night since we hand't even seen each other in a Month and went in to this gig cold.

EDIT: I hope I followed all the rules There's a lot to this, but it anything is out of line, let me know and I'll fix it

If anyone has any requests for demos on this amp, just PM me or post on here and I'll do what I can

Why thank you

I hope to add more soon. Probably just cllips of me covering a few songs. I've readjusted my custon settings a bit since this, and I'm super happy with the tone I'm getting now. It's to the point where I want to play guitar just to hear my amp

When I add more clips, I'll gladly add them to here.

^ Sorry it took me so long to respond. I was on one of my prescribed breaks from UG that my psychiatrist recommends.

Honestly, I'm just not sure what I'm supposed to do with these. I hate to say you are advertising but then again I hate to shut you out as well. Please help me out here.

I guess this thread was really more geared toward strait up product demos that people could look up. What you have are mods to existing products.

We'll figure something out
#115
I suppose I should add this here, huh?

This amp:

This pedalboard out front:

Running into a bog standard Marshall 1960A (G12T75)

Now it just has a touch of reverb from the pedalboard running throughout - an Alesis Picoverb.
I kick in the cheap Aldi overdrive (running pretty much just as a boost) at the end of the intro and then switch it off and leave it off.
No other effects at any other time.

Guitar is an Ibanez Iceman running both humbuckers in parallel.

The playing's a bit rough but it demonstrates how touch sensitive the amp is.
Enjoy!

Cathbard, is there a way you could build 18w clone but in a 1x12 combo? I mean, I know you can, but would you do that?

I guess so. I'd have to think about it, it probably wouldn't be too hard. The chassis would be the pita part. Shipping would be pretty expensive I'd imagine.
