I have enough parts to do it probably - apart from the tolex. I'll give it some thought. I could use some money. You're probably right though, an 18W Lite combo would probably be pretty sought after. I even have the perfect speaker to put in it too.

I suppose I should add this here, huh?

Sounds really good. It sounds slightly different than the first one you did. Maybe I'll throw my 'Ocean' riff up here as you've motivated me to contribute.

On my profile is a demo of Catalinbread's Ottava Magus and my LTD Viper-500, it's a friend's song where I recorded the fuzzy guitar, I just learned the structure and then I improvised.

I like that a lot. Reminds me of 311

You should go ahead and post the profile link to that song in your original post here in case you start adding more songs to your profile (which I hope you do)

I'm glad you like it. I'll add more songs, I just need to borrow an interface and to write some drums tracks.

Cath: Let me know how it goes please, awesome project indeed. I'm pretty sure it's a nice idea, you could get some juice for it, damn, If you weren't that far I'd propably order one but, like you said, shipping would be expensive.

i hate it when i am on the road for long periods of time and have no access to a drummer. i have almost gotten acceptable at making midi drums tracks for some pedestrian stuff. always prefer the real thing myself.

This time I added some reverb, that's the biggest difference - well that and I actually listened to the track again to remind myself of how it went.

We've discussed the concept of playing blues on the edge of breakup before. That recording displays that well. Notice how clean it is just by picking gently compared to when I hit the strings hard? I didn't touch the volume knob, that's all done with the fingers.

My brother is an excellent drummer but we are so different on what we like and drummers around do not have time for helping me recording my stuff, I'm using garage band but is hard to build more complex rythms since I use some progressive influence on my songs. A good and simple software you can recommend to me to write some respectful drum tracks for my songs? Or a viable way for using GB? I'm still new at recording and track writing methods.

I'd like to hear it on the clean channel with the volume dimed. You only run it with two tubes so it shouldn't be a problem. The average response time of the police is what? 20 minutes? Plenty of time.

You'd get more than 5 mins for a noise complaint, man - unless they live next door and were the ones making the complaint.

Alright, I have done a quickish recording of some high gain tones on an Egnater Renegade. Im confident that it would be much appreciated that you can hear what this amp can actually do in terms of metal. so without further adue, here is the clip on soundcloud and ill do settings below.
http://soundcloud.com/viola0shredder/mark-iv-tone-with-an-egnater

signal chain.
- EBMM JPXI 7 (crunch lab / liquifire) (with oldish elixr strings that work against my quest for a crisp sound)
- then into my most beloved posession, the Way Huge Green Rhino mkii. (volume is at 11.30, no gain, 100hz is at 7 oclock, bright is at 9oclock and mid is at 10.) tightens it up
-into the Egnater. on dirty channel. Gain at 85 to 90%, bass at 2 oclock, mids at noon, trebble at 1:30, tube mix to all EL34 and I had the amp decently loud, at with drummer jam levels. a smidge of reverb from the amp, and then density ar 2.30 and presence at 2. I DID have main 2 on, at about 8.30
- then i go into my god awful valveking cab. (yes laugh with me!)
-then i mic with an sm57 just off center which goes into a pod ux2 then reaper with no post production.

I have a hate for scooping mids severely, and usually find that bass at noon, mids at 1.30 and treb at 2.30 works nicely with this amp, kind of a gradual incline, but this amp has even more teeth if you do cut the mids.

the elixr strings and cab make it a little bit squishy but you get the idea.
enjoy and i could make some more clips too.
