there's nothing profound to say about the travesties I see
varied men who rise and fall with the concept of defeat
money, prayer, and politics
it's all just shit to me
the world don't see the games we play or even notice when we leave
it means nothing to me

there's a sad song on the air, but the people do not weep
they lose themselves in the blinding comfort of the company that they keep
money, prayer and politics
it's all they'll ever need
they use their tools to take it all, but nothing's ever free
it means something to me

I lit out from Reno, I was trailed by twenty hounds
the Devil had my number but he could not track me down
so you folks play your society and when you get bored, tear it down
I'll just keep on looking like there's still something to be found
I hope you tear it all down
I hope you tear it down

There's an awful lot of you telling, and not enough ambition to be a poet.

Try and show me how you feel using the intricacies of sound, image and word. I want to feel this experience, not have it lectured to me.
it's a sort of folk-punk song, not poetry.

should have clarified.

and if you read the "lecture" you should probably guess that I could care less about poetic ambition.

I'll get it recorded when my new computer comes to better share what this is.

thanks for the opinion.
