A friend 'o mine needs a versatile MFX unit for gigging, nothing ultra pro but just something with good sound. He is on a budget so he is willing to go used (let's say $300 usd equivalent MAX). His gear is a Fender Jagstang and a Hot Rod Deluxe. For alternative rock in Mexico. Something more inclined to modulation effects (delay, chorus, tremolo, etc...) and (if it is possible) a decent overdrive on it. Ideas? THX!

I'm telling him is a better idea to get single pedals and he says he will, but he just needs something cheap and quick while he saves for something better. He just wants to have some fun playing until he can afford something more pro.

POD HD 300 is... well, it's $300 new.

He's obviously pretty young, and I'd guess he's being raised by wolves, or at least humans with the intellectual capacity and compassion of wolves.

You finally made it home, draped in the flag that you fell for.
And so it goes
