So what are you planning on buying in the forseeable future? Anything interesting? Post all your gear plans here!

I'm looking to get hold of one of the new Charvel Desolation DS-1's. They're BEAUT

Especially in Trans Red;

It's beautiful!

I'm also after some kind of loop pedal but don't wanna spend loads, something around £150 maybe. Any good suggestions?

I'd also love an Epiphone Dot Royale, but that's just GAS methinks. I'll certainly be going for the Charvel first.

Digitech Jam Man Solo for a looper?
I think that's under £150

Gear-wise
I'm going to save money, then when I graduate uni I'm going to treat myself to a graduation present
Probably a Gibson Les Paul....The Gothic Morte one...if they still produce it
#3
Hopefully i'm going to mod my Bugera and get myself a PRS Torero or scour Ebay for a Gibson Flying V.

I think I'm gonna get a custom body build in the shape of one of Bellamy's monstrosities, but red, white, and blue, semi-hollow, and onto that I'm gonna throw this perfect Tele neck that I have, and my HSS electronic set-up and strat-trem bridge. That and a fuzz pedal.

I'm trying to save some money for a JCA20H, with matching cab. In the future I want to build my own enclosure, shaped like the TARDIS for massive nerdy sex appeal, but I don't know if I'll ever get around to doing that. I'll probably get the JCA, some pedals, and then a great acoustic.

But I also want a custom SG from Warmoth. Oh, decisions.

I want to do a few little mods I read about online to my Carvin X60 but other than that I'm pretty content with my setup right now. I'd love to get a PRS McCarty at some point, but I have a feeling that's going to be a long time from now
Gear
Highway One Tele (w/Custom Shop 51 Nocaster pickups)
Standard Tele (modded to Nashville specs)
Reverend Roundhouse

Orange Rockerverb 50 MKI
Vox AC4c1
Jet City JCA20H

And pedals!

Amp. Sometime in the future- either a Marshall JCM or a Fender of some kind. One of the new Fender Marauders. And a tele is always on the radar...
Dude, where's my band?

Next peice is going to be a Mesa/Boogie Mark IV or Mark V.
Gotta hope the holiday money gets me started on that fund

Epiphone les paul Custom with Heritage Cherry Sunburst finish.

I'm gonna switch the pickups to Gigson P-94's and install a Bigsby with a vibramate and rolling bridge. I'm also gonna replace the nut and tuners if they are stock. They are only available used anymore so a fretwork is probably also in order.

Also I dream of owning a Gibson LP, Tobacco Sunburst Telecaster and an Italia Maranello speedster II without the fugly plastic cover near the knobs, preferably in red finish.

Amps I don't really know, probably a Vox combo in the near future and when I'm rolling in dough I'll get a boutique amp.

It's nice to dream when you're poor like me
#13
The only thing I need now is a VHT Fatbottom 4x12. That will be my next purchase in the future.

Well I had to sell my Dual Rectifier a few months back, so I've been stuck playing through my POD, (don't laugh, it isn't fun) so I plan on buying a new head (maybe a Mark V ) around the holidays.

I want to get a Peavey 6505 (I don't want a Bugera mac) and a Marshall JVM210H

Then I want an Explorer of some kind, maybe with a Floyd Rose.

I'm in the process of paying for a great condition 1979 hagstrom super swede, and at some point i plan to get a new amp, probably a small 15-18 watt tube head, but haven't really decided on what to get exactly.
I like analogue Solid State amps that make no effort to be "tube-like", and I'm proud of it...

...A little too proud, to be honest.

I read mayonnaise. Get's me every time!

OT: valve amp. I've only ever has solids, not that I'm complaining - they've served me pretty damn well. I saw some VOX products that seemed quite nice to me, but I'm yet to try anything out. or maybe a nice acoustic guitar (I know this is the electric guitar section, but whatthehell!). I've never owned one, only ever had classicals for my...well...classical training. Maybe a nice Takamine or a Crafter.

First, a Gibson Explorer, then either an Orange Thunderverb or Engl Powerball and a cab. Lots of saving to go

At the end of this month I'm getting an acoustic amp to run alongside my Marshall, so I'll have a stereo rig.
The only other thing I want to add is an EDS 1275 in white, gonna have to save a while for that one though, I've got the Epi version to get by for now though.
#25
it's gonna be epic, hopefully later this week.
I wondered why the frisbee was getting bigger, then it hit me.
#26
#1 Fender MIM Deluxe Players Strat for standard tuning
#2 212 or 412 cab with nice speakers and mod my combo into a head because its a pain in the ass to carry around.
#3 Another guitar for metal but passive pups cause having only actives gets boring but i like actives enough that i dont want to get rid of them.
-either going to be:
DBZ of some sort
Ibanez Prestige of some sort
BC Rich Exotic Assasin
Charvel Desolation Skatecaster-1 but idk id have to mod it to passives.

Probably only going to achieve #'s 1 and 2 over the next 12 months.

I'm getting a Pod X3 & decent Audio Technica Headphones in a week or so.

I've also GASed for a thin necked, red Stratocaster with a Tone Zone bridge pickup forever.

thank you for offering to buy me an amp, it wasn't really what i had in mind, but that was very generous and i appreciate it. when shall i expect it to arrive on my doorstep?

After the first of the year, I am going to try to pick up a Marshall 1959SLP. To me, they sound like heaven.
#30
I've got my Strats and my Taylor already, so the only others I'd want are a PRS Swamp Ash Special and a Fender Nashville B-bender Telecaster. My Twin pretty much does everything I need. I'm not hard to please when it comes to Fender on Fender tone.

Absolutely nothing. For the first time in my life i am 100% satisfied with what I have and have no desire at all for anything else.
Custom guitars, vintage amps, boutique pedals. Blah, blah, blah.

That's not possible for a guitarist. There are you just things you didn't know you were gassing for yet.

The Laney for distortion, the Fender for cleans.
Stacked humbuckers in the stang.

A "tubescreamer" is a person paid by a guitarist to stand behind the amp and scream at the tubes. This terrifies the tubes into overdriving and delivers a thick, harmonic-rich tone.
#35
A VGS Evertune, because I'm way too lazy to keep retuning my guitar.

Wouldn't mind one of these beauties:

A new amp would be nice as well, though I don't know which yet; oh, and a there's a few pedals I could do with.
You cannot choose the little time you're given in this world. You enter bare and unclothed, provided only with intelligence enough to choose how you spend your time. You always have a choice. Always. Though be warned, your choice can rarely be undone

It's possible, believe me. I've gotten every type of guitar I've ever wanted custom built, built a pedalboard that has every single thing I'll ever need and then a few things I don't really even need at all, and my trusty 1976 Hiwatt Custom 100. I haven't even entertained the idea of new stuff for quite some time, and anytime I play anything anywhere I am reminded of how I like my stuff better.

A set of Bare Knuckle AfterMaths and a Line 6 DT50 2x12 combo. Thats my christmas plans.
