So I'm trying to learn the intro of Paradise City (with the fast broken chords) but there is one thing I can't figure out. Am I supposed to let your right hand rest on the bridge or should I let it float above it?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ldn1t6dJyE8. It looks like Slash is floating his right hand above the bridge but I'm not sure because it's unclear in the video.

Whenever I sit down to play guitar, I always need to pee in like 3 minutes. Is this weird?

You can let your hand float or rest on the brigde, it won't affect it from sustaining as you are not palm muting. Just don't anchor your fingers somewhere. Besides that just play what feels more comfortable and let the notes sustain
