Ok so I can see that being kind of a cool stage amp but really? The hell's that going to do to the tone? I'm unfamiliar with the reputation of the Bulldog speakers but isn't one of the big draws of an AC30 usually the Greenbacks? And high quality or not that price is just ludicrous for what is basically a conversation piece.

Thoughts?

bulldog speakers are actually pretty awesome depending on what year they were made. If they are early on celestion made they are probably more rare than a pair of greenbacks and sound pretty great. But yeah, that plexiglass job is pretty silly. probably gets hot as hell too.

EDIT: those are newer, so they suck. but yeah the late 60's early 70's years are the ones that got teh mojos.

Not sure it would sound that great, to be honest... I think the density of the plexiglass wouls have an (adverse) effect on the tone...

Also, it Celestion Blues that are the really sought after speakers in Vox.
It's an opinion. It's subjective. And I'm right, anyway.

Yeah i knew about the blues, but weren't there a few years of bulldog that were supposed to sound good? Idk, I saw going for some big prices on the bay.... Idk, maybe not
