If you're from America, you're an American. Canada, a Canadian. Etc.. What are you if you're from Helsinki?
If a pizza has a radius of "Z" and a height of "A" it has a volume of pi(z)(z)(a)

Some unpronounceable Icelandic word.
^^The above is a Cryptic Metaphor^^

Something would change because those vowels don't work together IIRC.

I want to say Helsingissä. From Helsinki. Kind of works.

Nope, it's Helsinkiläinen. Helsingissä is 'in Helsinki', Helsingistä is 'from Helsinki' and so on

Bodom is in a completely separate city to Helsinki...

Doesn't change the fact that Finland's national band is CoB, thus placing all Finns as Bodomites first.

p.s. Finnish is a beautiful language for poetry. Oh, how it flows.

Well, yeah.. but the Finnish translation of what would be in English 'Helsinkier' (or something along those lines) is Helsinkiläinen

a, o, u can't go in a word with ä, ö or y

The exeptions are if two words are together, like iltapäivällä, 'in the afternoon'

The 'ä' in Helsinkiläinen has nothing to do with that rule. That's just one of those things you have to know.. as far as I'm aware. I've learned from living here there are many of those things, which have no rule and "it just is" like it is

America and Canada are not cities.

Thanks tips. It doesn't really matter if they are or not in this case, it's still the same thing. Ahahahahhhaa

Helsinki is a city. Canada is a country. America is a supercontinent.

Not the same.

Anything is better than being a Dildonian.

You don't want to do a cannon ball in Dildo Pond trust me
The lake was silent for some time. Finally it said:
"I weep for Narcissus, but I never noticed that Narcissus was beautiful. I weep because, each time he knelt beside my banks, I could see, in the depths of his eyes, my own beauty reflected."

I know cities are different than counties, but they follow this same suffix-ish rule. That's what I meant.
