So, my dad is building a new guitar that needs steinberger tuners. (like the ones that come on a Gibson Firebird.) He ordered a set from eBay and one of them is broken. Does anyone know where to get these kind of tuners, even cheaper knock offs? StewMac is the only place we can find them and they are $99 per set, which is expensive considering this is the second time he is buying a set, lol. It would ideal if he could buy just one, but a cheap set of them would be fine too.

No, the sale was too long ago. =P The problem is that the tuner will not clamp onto the sting, and we didn't know this until we went to string the guitar up. =P Which meant my dad bought the tuners and then built the guitar (which took like two months) and the tuner does not look broke at all, so the only way to find out was to put a string through it, which we obviously didn't think to put a string in all 6 when we first got them. =P
