I'm looking at getting a new guitar. I play for my church on Sundays and Wednesdays, so primarily a Worship sound (similar to that of U2) however I don't know much when it comes to the technical aspect of a guitar. I know about companies, models, and basic stuff. However when you start talking about nut width, neck radius, fret size, trems/ bridges, pickups, etc. I get lost. Will someone help me out? What do I need to look for/ avoid when it comes to buying a guitar, preferably under the $1,000 mark. I have an Ibanez SZ? series and a Renegade Washburn right now. Thinking about selling it/ them though if I need more cash. Thanks for your input. Cheers.

A lot of that all comes down to how the guitar feels, so a lot of it is personal preference. If you can, just go play some, see what you like.
