I decided to up the gauge on my Dean, and the last time I did I had to add a spring, making bombs and other things very difficult. What is the best way to configure the springs(trying to use only 3) with a 10-52 in Eb, and how much should I adjust the tension screws?

Just keep tightening the screws until the floyd is flush with the body, you shouldn't need to add another spring. Just make sure to tighten them both evenly though.

This. Make sure you loosen the strings before you increase your spring tension though.
