Hey guys.

The other night a drunk friend was screwing around with my LTD f-50, and loosened the treble side neck pickup adjuster screw so much it came out of the base plate. now the pickup is too low for the screw to engage, is there a way to fix this without taking it to a shop? has anyone had this problem? I haven't been playing very long and have never done anything more complicated than changing strings, so a "for dummies" explanation would be great.

thanks a lot
You'll have to take the strings and pickup mounting ring off. Once you've got them out, you can re-thread the screw (make sure the spring is still there) and put everything back on. It will take a little while if it's your first time, but it's definitely something you can do yourself.
