Was looking for some new music today. A friend recommended the new Florence + The Machine album but from everything she's released as singles, I haven't liked it. But, I thought I'd give it a go. And DAMN it's a good album. Very unique. Heavily based around drums and vocals. So good.

I recently found a band in my library, and I remember I've heard their albums like 2-3 years ago, but don't remember the songs very well..
So I put those albums in my iPod, and realised the band is absolutely great.
It's a Slovak band (you don't know where it is, right..), they play something like numetal or hardrock, some ballads..
The band's name is Metropolis.

That is, if you consider nine months ago recent.

I just got into a producer named Emancipator. Absolutely beautiful music.

Just recently (a couple of months ago) got into Protest the Hero. I've been out of the metal scene for years but i'm really digging these guys. The vocals took a few listens to get into but i find Rodys style quite refreshing now.
Not so keen on the sound of A Calculated Use of Sound but Kezia and especially Fortress are f*cking outstanding, i've yet to pick up Scurrilous.

Besides that i've recently got into Kid Dynamite and Biffy Clyro's 1st 3 albums.

Television are amazing. Marquee Moon might be one of the best albums ever.

Tinariwen was the last band that I found(even though they've been around since the late 70's ). Crazy, awesome African music!

Dude, if there was a club that played this music I would actually go, though I would probably end up moshing and hitting the people around me. This shit is awesome!
