the cheaper ones are 70.00 for 10ft with neutrik ends .

are these cables the holy grail of tone ?

cables should be the last stop on the 'holy grail of tone' train. save your money, get something with a lifetime warranty that is cheaper than that.

Overpriced, non scientific junk. If they make all these claims but you don't see any real figures, chances are it's a bunch of mojo bull shit.

No cables will make your guitar sound better. Normal cables won't affect your tone at all, and only the very worst cables will harm it. Even then it's a matter of taste--Stevie Ray Vaugn, for instance, used the worst cables he could find (coily 25ft. Radio Shack cables) so they would kill some high end. Buy cables based on durability and shielding quality, not silly marketing hype. I mean, "symmetric design?" That's the best they can come up with? Oh, and "reduced microphonics." Fun fact: I use Monster, Live Wire, AXL and generic no-name cables, and none of them have any microphonics whatsoever, so these must have negative microphonics.

No cable should cost more than two dollars a foot. Any more is theft.
