If you had to pick one, just curious really, give some examples of why as well.

This is for modern music, only doing 40's onwards, so my bad if you're into a lot older stuff

The 60's

Banned for respecting my opinion and politely disagreeing.
You're probably the most respectful person in the Pit.
The 90s had this, so I have to go with that.

I put a ton of my capital into SW Airlines... The next day, THE NEXT DAY these nutters fly into the WTC. What the hell? Apparently no one wanted to fly anymore, and I was like "What gives? God damnit Osama, let me win a fuggin' game!"
Rock? Last decade.

Metal? 90s.

Pop? Now.

Progressive? Late 60s/early 70s

Rap? 90s/00s

That's all I can think of right now.
actually it depends on what I'm listening to at the moment.

Don't think I've ever been sigged.

I pretty much never leave the drug thread anymore.

The eighties produced the best music by a long way: I can't imagine a life without Wham!

Probably this one to be honest.

90s a very close second, then probably the 50s.

A lot of the music I listen to atm is from the last few years really.
Had to pick the 80's since there was less bad music back then. There are loads and loads of good music from the 90's and there's loads of good new music too. But there is so much crap going one now so it has to be the 80's.

Your balls. You lost the right to them. Hand them over.

What kind of person needs to have a Flying V shoved up their vagina?

Join The 7-String Legion! Now!
the 90s, no doubt. alice in chains, nirvana, soundgarden... man, those were awesome years...
Probably the 70s. the Stones, Pink Floyd and Bowie in great shape.
The current decade is always the best, because you have the option of listening to all the previous decades in addition to anything from previous years.

A lot of my favourite rock music is from about 85-92ish though.
Gibson LP Traditional, LP GT, LP Studio, SG Standard x2

90's. there was some real cool death metal bands (Suffocation, Bolt Thrower, Death), some real cool folk metal (Mithotyn, Falkenbach, Enslaved), some real cool black metal (Emperor, Arcturus, Beherit), and some real cool funeral doom metal (Thergothon, Skepticism, Funeral). i also like 90's rock and some 90's pop, plus Shawn Lane.
There's no such thing; there never was. Where I am going you cannot follow me now.

And the 90's had jungle/DnB, acid house and hardcore.

So yeah, the 90's.
90's. A lot of the rock and most of the electronic music I listen to comes from that time.
00s then 90s by far. Then I would say 70s > 80s > 60s. 80s loses points cos I have a burning hatred for the shitty fashion.
I was torn between choosing the 80's or the 90's. It was choosing between either metal or grunge, my two favorite genres. Then I remembered that Rust In Peace came out in 1990 and I was sold on the 90's.
60-70's would be my favourite.

I kind of like 90'-00's as well. Radiohead, Libertines, Babyshambles, Pete Doherty, Håkan Hellström and Björn Olsson.
sometimes I see us in a cymbal splash or in the sound of a car crash
80s. I love 80s music. I really feel like I should have been born in the 70s so I could have been a teenager in the 80s. Nowadays I walk around talking about how Songs From the Big Chair is one of my favorite albums of all time and people look at me like "lol is dat jay-z or lil wayne???"

the 2000s.
80's, 80's, 80's!!!

Being a thrash metal manica, what other decade could/would I possibly choose?

(Note: I'll lump Megadeth's RIP in here, as it was only several months out of the 80's and was very much a part of the 90's thrash movement.)
Wish i could change my vote from the 80's to the 2000's.
Because the album "Lulu" came out in the 2000's.
