Okay guys! This is a big day for me! Not every day you buy a new, awesome high-gain monster-amp, so of course I had to have some fun (https://www.ultimate-guitar.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1498489). Thanks for participating, guys This time my topic follows the new gear day rules

Now for the revelation - it's a mother****ing....
Pic

Vox Amplug Metal
Most brutal amp since the invention of the Marshall MG and Spider III!

All shit aside, it's a pretty cool thing to practice with when you're on the fly. It's very much a one trick pony and sounds pretty fizzy for most part. Kind of like an MT-2 Best 50$ spent, ever!

Here's a clip - no EQ/compression done except HPF/LPF:

So stykerwolf won the cookie! Congrats http://www.interiordesigninspiration.net/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/Photo-Cookies-3.gif

Does not sound bad. Not GREAT, but still not bad at all for what it is.

I won't be deleting my guitar VST-folder or cancelling my Axe Fx II order just yet

Also, this can be a good reminder of how much a solid bass tone matters for guitar tone

I've got one, and I've even plugged mine into my pedal board where the amp cable usually goes... of course, I also use an extension for the headphones..

Works great... I'll never be without one again...

Every guitar and bass forum I've visited has some people chasing some magical tone that will shoot jizzing unicorns riding on a rainbow out of their amp.

The kick was way too loud in that mix, drowned out a lot of the guitar unfortunately!
Still, from what I could hear, sounds pretty surprising for the size of it.

I wondered why the frisbee was getting bigger, then it hit me.
