Ok this is my first thread so don't heckle me if I do something wrong
Ok I am sort of torn over 3 Guitars to buy.

ESP/LTD AX400FM (used at gc) $400

ESP/LTD EC1000 (a used one with EMGs) $450-$500

BC Rich Pro X Warlock (new) $600

I play thrash, death, metalcore and all other -cores. I do not have the ability to try these out as the nearest gc is an hour away and I cant drive. They do not have these anyway, though.
Just looking for opinions thanks!

The EC1000 because it will probably have the higher craftsmanship to it. I also like the neck shapes on the LTDs personally.

You CAN play anything with anything....but some guitars sound right for some things, and not for others. Single coils sound retarded for metal, though those who are apeshit about harpsichord probably beg to differ.

+One billion to all the previous posts!

The EC-1000 definitely! Mine plays great, smooth neck, pickups sound great for the genres you mentioned. Not only that but they look great too, especially if you choose one of the more exciting colours like blue, red or green!
