Just got this in a trade.

I thought it was a Greco but i think its fake, i don't think it says Greco.

Is it a real Greco? I can get body pics if needed.

EDIT: on the back it sayd made in "USA", not Fuji like most Grecos.

Nope, its fake. A fake of a copy, not worth a cent. I'll dispose of it for you, send it to me.

It might be a fake. Shoot Greco an email and explin to them your problem. I'm sure they will be happy to trade your fake Greco for a real one free of charge.

Genuine Grecos have a special incantation on the 7th fret which can control the weather. If you provide a photo i'd be happy to check if it works.

its a copy i think. the logo is in the same kind of style but doesn't say "Greco" and no Grecos are made in USA.

maybe check the serial number? because that guarantees authenticity.

OP I hope you're joking because if you were really as foolish as your post I don't think you'd be able to log onto a computer little form sentences.
That's a good looking Gibson SG headstock there. Now how about some pics of the rest of her?

I heard Greco used to put little egg shells in the wiring compartments.

squier. shot's right.

did you check the back of the pickguard?

it also says "made in jamaica" under the control knobs really small so nobody catches it.

also the trussrod cover is inside out. it says squier on the other side bro.

it must be a squier, it has a wrapover tailpiece AND a tune-o-matic.

It actually stands for "Silly Greeny"
They built a time machine specifically to see who would end up with that particular guitar, and made a personalised truss rod cover specifically for you.
