My wife is a long time fan of U2 so in 2001 I surprised her with tix to see them at Slane castle in Ireland. On the way we stopped in London and caught their show there too before. The Slane show was incredible. Bono's dad had just passed away so the emotion was high. The Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Coldplay opened for them. I was staying at 4 Seasons in Dublin and saw the Red Hots hanging in the lobby and sat next to Morrissey in the bar. Carson Daley was there too. Fun trip. I can actually see myself in the DVD cover photo. I'm a tall dark dude and was wearing a baseball cap. Pretty easy to spot amongst a sea of Irish people!
