I'm gonna need specific instructions again on how to properly dance with my pants on my head.

First you put your pants on your head.
Second you dance.
Third you wipe off all the pussy.

This song is made of win. Yeah, it's noisy at first, but then it turns into awesome shoegazy post-metal.

Also, by the same guy's older band, only with a scene from Jesus Christ Superstar that syncs oddly well with it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AMMlN49_sYY

I've had this song on my computer for years, no idea how it got there. It's called "Song I Wrote in Math Class" but this is the only trace I can find of it besides sketchy MP3 download sites.

It's the first song I learned by ear

Not so much on this one.

Your avatar is made of fucking win, sir. Neurosis are one of the best bands I'd never gotten around to listening to until recently, and I regret it deeply. And it's their best album, IMHO.

Jay, I had to leave chat, but yeah that first song is kind of a progressive take on screamo elements.

It's really good when/if it clicks, but really hard to digest otherwise.

Daily Routine was great. I loved the beginning of the first one, but hated the ending.

Holy shit, I wasn't expecting that to turn into what it did. I was thinking, "Hmm, I was expecting screamo or something, but this is like post-rock." And then four minutes in...

I've heard of Circle Takes the Square, but I'd never heard them before. I'm gonna have to listen to this whole album.

I've been spinning As the Roots Undo for the past three days. It's really really good.

They put out new shit recently that's on par with this as well.
