I've searched the forums for my case but didn't find an answer, so I decided to ask you.

So, I'm planning to buy a multieffect. Budget is max 150 Eur/200USD. I want an USB/audio interface so I can record, should be portable, not so complicated, drum machine would be good, maybe with a small looper, should be easy to use at gigs.

Doesn't have to have an expression pedal, I don't need any signature models or models with patches from famous musicians.

I was mostly looking at Zoom and Digitech ones, and the Zoom G2 Nu got me the most.

I play through a Marshall AVT50 with emulated DI out and effects loop.

I always like to talk with somebody when making decisions like this one, so I'm asking You for help/advice.

PS: sorry for some English mistakes, I'm from Slovakia..

well i have a zoom 2.1u and it is extremely convenient for recorded. im not a huge fan of the sound though and i prefer to use analogue pedals...even when im recording (i.e. guitar to pedals to zoom with aboslutely no effects on)

I second the Zoom G3. Great tone, great features.
Amp upgrade in the near future would be a good idea.

The budget is a real maximum. G3 costs even a bit more.. Is the G3 that better? I don't mind if the looper doesn't work with drum machine. So, if I don't have enough money/don't want to spend more, should I buy the G2Nu?

IIRC the looper on the G2N.u is too short to be of any value. The RP255 and RP355 have 20 sec loopers. That's a barely decent amount. The G3 in the US can be had for as low as $165, so I thought it might be in your budget.
