Just upped the gauge on my telecaster. Regular slinky to beefy slinky. Do i need to make any adjustments to the neck, the bottom two strings dont sit that deep in the nut either. Any help would be appreciated. This seems pretty basic but ive only changed my strings this time, the shop usually does it but theyve been charging obscene prices now so i thought i would give it a shot....

If i were you I'd consider using power slinky's instead. The lower strings on a set of beefys are overkill unless you're doing some serious down tuning. Power slinkys have got plenty of beef but they should still fit in your nut

Always up for some C4C, been compared to Frank Turner, The Cure's Robert Smith and Bruce Springsteen so check out my stuff if you like the sound of that

Power slinkies are a bit light for me. Beefy slinkies are all I use
