The artist have been found, thanks for all the help. The one is Leo Sayer.
Youtube link

Pit, I need your help to find an artist/band I saw on youtube.
The singer were wearing white makeup, kinda like a clown. And I think that he wore like a white dress thing.
He sang most in a higher register. And the lyrics, the whole concept were a little theatre/poetry like. But sometimes it went more to rock.

I know it's not much to go on, but I just can't find him anymore. Really annoying. Thanks in advance.

/Elof

*Edit: It was live too. So it might have been a one time only with the clown thing.

**Edit: The music is very soft. Can't really remember any drums sticking out, or any dist guitars.
I think he had a black dot on his nose too.

***Edit: Thinking more about it. He probably wore makeup like a mime. A little different from a clown. All black and white.

Wrong bands:
King Diamond
Billy Corgan
Marilyn Manson
Andy Wood
The Darkness
Saviour Machine
Merciful Fate

Big ones can be fun in some ways but generally, they are a pain in the ass.

None on those 3. :/

The music were very soft. Don't think the singer actually played a instrument.
And he were gesticulating( not sure about that word :P) alot with his hands.

The feeling of 'Mother Love Bone - Chloe Dancer / Crown of Thorns' did sound alot like the one I'm after.
Don't think it's the one though.

Sonically, it sounds vaguely familiar to mewithoutYou or La Dispute. Probz not them, but they're cool anyway.

The Darkness?

Not that one.

The band is not that popular. I had never heard of them before. Don't think alot people have. And music is much softer.

Your first description does sound allot like King Diamond or Merciful Fate, King Diamond also sings for them. He uses allot of hand gestures, sings with a high pitched falsetto voice, and is very theater/poetry/story type songs/videos and wears white and black face makeup. But he usually wears all black from what I remember.

It's too much rock. I know that this is the pit, so finding anything that's not rock/metal is hard. :P

If I remember it correctly, the songs were alot about the vocals. Don't think I ever heard a dist guitar.

King Diamond?
You are now using UG Black.
You are now using UG Classic.

Listening to: Chick Corea, Yes, Genesis, Jethro Tull

It is I, the mighty shitkicker, as prophesied by JustRooster. Obey me.

is it Queen? the description sounds like it could be something from A Night At The Opera. maybe not though, since i'd imagine that most people know them, but it couldn't hurt.
