Southern Hardcore From Saskatchewan Canada,
They are broken up now (RIP) and did a farewell tour across Canada with Architects, and Structures.
but their Motion Sickness Love Album never fails to get me stoked.
listen to the songs; Up in smoke, My Pet Monster on youtube.
And I'm sure you'll get hooked on this band too.

There are other threads on this band but they're pretty old. I still jam these dudes. So good.

Should listen to these guys more, but Up In Smoke is my jam. One of my favourite songs ever.

the only good bands to come out of the prairies are propagandhi and the weakerthans.

Disregarded. Means, The Holly Springs Disaster, Some of Misery Signals is based outta Saskatchewan,
and for all you pop punk fans, Ten Second epic.
the list can go on.

Yo Stalwart Sons and Todos and Cope and Maus and Mahria and Book of Caverns and Crippled Children and basically the entirety of the Revolution Winter/Bart Records roster is from the prairies.

Also this band was my jam like 4 years ago.

I thought the whole idea of post-hardcore was to mix techno and hardcore.....

woooahhh, Alberta is counted as "the prairies" now?

Okay, well I wasn't counting Alberta, because there's a fair bit of bands that I enjoy from there. In my original post, let "prairies" refer to Manitoba and Sasket.

Their farewell tour with Architects and Structures is still the best show I've ever been too. Wish they were still a band or at least finished that full length.

blame michael froh, he was too busy having a bone disease, and trying to make remixes to continue THSD vocal duties.

Go to calgary. Look at area directly east of Calgary. Goddamn prairies until you hit Tbay. Edmonton is the same but tundra-ier. Also, Auld Beak is from Sask. and they rule.

Because of A) what Geoff said, and B) KEN Mode.

Shit, I knew I forgot someone. Cold Craving and the other bands those guys play in, mostly Being a Bear and Absturner, are awesome.
