Title kinda explains it.
What singers do you think sound horrible? Yet you still love them.

Btw, this isn't supposed to be some flaming contest. Let's take this all in good stride.

To begin:
Les Claypool (if you watch Bob's Party Time (live) you can hear some cracks in his voice )
David Byrne (Not a genuinely terrible singer, but he does sound quite funny at times)
Breakfast, Breakfast, it's great for us
We eat, we eat, we eat

Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy, it can't be beat

Jeff Mangum. I don't know if he's terrible, but most people I've showed In The Aeroplane Over the Sea to they aid they hated his voice.

Maria Brink.

Her voice is good sometimes, but on some songs it's just cringe-worthy

Also I don't think Brendon Small (Dethklok) is considered a particularly skilled growler (or whatever the term is) but I think he's great. The songs where he sings as Pickles are also really good

Early on he wasn't very good. Listen to his first album. His voice cracks sometimes. Nevertheless I find him absolutely amazing and I prefered his voice on those albums. While sounded younger and more like Bob Dylan.

Well I don't know if you've heard that new song he released recently, but if you have you will agree with me that his vocal abilities aren't what they used to be.
