Anyone know specifics about this amp?

I'm going to be playing in a hardcore band in Drop A# tuning and was offered one of these for a very reasonable price.

Any input on if this would be a good amp for the type of music I'm going to be playing would be great help.

Thanks

Sold it last year when I went of to college for cash to pay for some stuff.

And its like post-hardcore/melodic hardcore.

Like the color morale, new for the fallen dreams type of stuff and some touche amore kind of stuff here and there

The Mesa F-50 should be capable of that with a boost. A lot of metal/hardcore doesn't require as much gain as you might think. What kind of price is reasonable I guess is the deciding factor here, and you still have a cab?

Yes I still have my cab. And hes asking $500 for it.

I've got the F-50 combo. I absolutely love it. It can (imo) do pretty much any genre. That's a great deal on it. Just use the Contour channel for high gain applications.

You're welcome.
