Football, etc. are a 3 piece emo band from Houston, Texas. There album has been put out by Count Your Lucky Stars in the USA and Strictly No Capital Letters in the UK, so if you know these labels you get the general vibe of what they're like.

There album 'The Draft' is definitely one of my favourite of this year, as they list on there influences section on Facebook, kind of Rainer Maria, Ghosts and Vodka, Jejune, Mineral, The One-Up Downstairs, Dianogah, The Breeders, Sonic Youth, My Bloody Valentine vibe, so old 90's emo basically but with female vocals (band consists of 2 girls and one guy!)

You can grab The Draft and there first EP First down from there bandcamp for pay what you want (free if you want, just enter 0.00)

They're coming over and doing a UK tour with my band (your neighbour the liar) starting December 27th in London and ending on the 7th of January in Brighton.

All shows are welcome to the public, for any more information e-mail yourneighbourtheliar@gmail.com

Free music from both bands can be downloaded.

I saw Nash post about this on facebook today, made a mental note to check it out.

I can't believe they're from Houston. They're pretty good. Usually the bands we had in Houston all sucked.

Of course I hear about the good Houston bands after I move -__-

This is the kind of stuff I've been really craving recently, getting The Draft promptly.

The bassist is hot and plays a 6-string, is it odd if I propose to her next week?

Odd for you? No, it'd be odd if you didn't propose.

Not a bass. It's a baritone Fender thing.

Isn't it sold as a bass guitar though?

I like this band, I've only really been listening to The Draft though.

I see you're from Scotland man, get along to Dundee at Kage on the 30th or Edinburgh at The Banshee Labyrinth on the 31st if you can!

Manchester venue has been changed to the Whitworth.

Considering Edinburgh if I can find someone to go with. Dundee's too much bother to get to/back though, haha.

I like this band name.

I have the vinyl coming in the mail this week, so I'll hold off on listening to it for now. I'm sure it's good.
