I have a VOX AD30VT and when I play and use a vibrato, there is a little crackling coming from my amp. Could this be the result of a bad preamp tube (12AX7)? I tried switching cables, and re-configuring my EQ, but to no avail, the problem is still there. I read somewhere that it could be a bad solder connection. Any help is very much appreciated!!

Thanks.

I had the same problem with my Vox AC15VR. I turns out I wasn't taking care of my cables and they broke on the inside so I bought a new set. I'm not sure whether with you it's the same problem but I'd check

I went through my entire hoard of cables, its the same problem. About a year ago I replaced the preamp tube, but that time it was volume loss. I'm not sure what is going on now.
