I have an old SWR workingmans 12" combo..after years of this sitting around i fired it up today..when turning the knobs the amp get a bit staticy....the volume knob is the biggest problem its not just static like but also when turning it upit will cut volume alot or completley..i tryed using duster but didnt do anything..I then opened it and the solder seems to be good...what else can i try to fix this problem...I have a guitar amp that is a bit staticy as well but its nothing bad however when turning it on theres a loud static popping nosie so i plug the cab in after the power is on...

Keep turning the knobs, it should scrape the dust out by itself.

Just don't use CRC because it dosn't dry out and more dust will get stuck to it.
