Hey,
I'm in the market for a new interface, and I'm stuck between these two. I hear the Apogee has much better sound quality/lower latency/etc than the mbox, and I was wondering if anyone had any experience with them.
Thanks alot!

Yup, Duet it is. If anyone says otherwise, they don't know what they're talking about

I've had tube amps for a while now, but never actually had any go down on me

maybe you're not saying the right things? an amp likes to know you care.

As someone who has used the original Duet for anything requiring just one or two channels since 2008/09, I think the Duet is the greatest two-channel interface out there and while I haven't tried the Duet 2, if it even matches the original it is worth 3 or 4 MBoxes based purely on pre's and A/D conversion... then there's the ease of use etc. that put the Duet up there well above the MBox with the other well-thought out user interfaces.

you always manage to sum things up in a passively aggressive manner
