Lately I've been fooling around with these slash chords. Any songs with them in it really.

The Pirates of the Caribbean Curse of the Black Pearl soundtrack. No idea why, I just really.. really enjoy it. I think someone posted a song from it for someone that needed music to shave their beard off to. After that, I was all over it.

Why the **** didn't you quote me and give me a little blurb about how DR is great with a high-five smiley? What's even the point of listening to them if you don't have someone acknowledging how good they are?

Ya not gwan speak patois; me gwan talk the fake patois.

Moving Mountains - With One's Heart In One's Mouth

Definitely one of my favorite songs at the moment. The scream at 3:01 is just intense. The song seems long, but you really only need to listen till about 5:00. The rest is pretty much outro.

side note: Can you guys please label videos in threads like this? It's not difficult, and it makes these topics a lot less of a flustercuck of random links.

"Aphelion" is my favorite. Do you listen to The Album Leaf?

Pyramids - Hellmonk

And I'm all like "What the hell is going on?"

The description says experimental rock? Sounds like it has more in common with black metal than anything else, pretty sweet either way.

Listen to Sleds. It sounds like something My Morning Jacket might do just to fuck with their fans.

Vocals killed it for me. Was kind of interesting up until then.

Hm, the vocals in general or just the end?

Yeah, I've listened to them a bit, although not extensively. I've definitely enjoyed what I've heard.

edit: and yeah, Aphelion is amazing. Really, Pneuma as a whole is a fantastic album. Ode We Will Bury Ourselves is a perfect album closer.

Requiem For A Dream

Epic, but too short, I'm afraid.

In general. I'm still incapable of liking that particular style of vox. It's really the only reason keeping me from buying every Fall of Troy record.

I took this as a recommendation and liked it.
Will look up their other stuff.

Ha, totally understood. I'm like that with certain bands, as well. Namely, Between the Buried and Me.
