It will definitely be an improvement. Is there something better out there? Probably. Should that bother you? Nope. Speakers are so sensitive to every little aspect of your gear and even your playing. There's really no way to know what you like until you start trying. I've had two Eminence speakers and really liked both. They seem to hold their value OK too if you decide to sell.

Don't sweat it. You made the decision you thought best. Why second guess?

For what you are playing I probably would have gone for Scumbacks. What you got will be an improvement though.
