I finally ended my custom guitar. Now I'm looking for pickups.
Specifications are: Ash body with walnut top, hard rock maple/wenge 5 piece neck with ebony fretboard.

I don't know what I want so I'll just give you name of the band which I play.
Green Day,Blink 182,Rush,Creed,U2,RHCP,Aerosmith,The Killers.
I'm looking for low output pickups.

Now,first I was thinking about DiMarzio Air Classic?

Peavey JSX head.

Ahh I have that head too. Great head.

I would suggest perhaps a SD pearly gates for the bridge and a duncan 59 for the neck. Not to familiar with dimarzio pickups though unfortunately.

Hm,don't know about Pearly Gates, but I played '59 and Custom Custom combo on Mahogany, but I don't know how will it sound on ash/walnut..

99% of my favourite pickups don't work well in ash so I'm kind of disappointed. On the other hand,I like more ash then mahogany.

Edit: What about some P90s?

P90's could be cool. I like the 36th Anniversary PAF set I have from Dimarzio, but I do have them in a mahogany guitar... I feel like just about anything designed after the PAF humbuckers should work though. Especially if you don't need tons of output.
Maximum volume yields maximum goats.
