not sure if this really goes in this section, but if so i'll remove it. Anyways i recorded a Cover of Silent Night that i arranged on the Acoustic and added synths then put it to a picture that represents me on Youtube and it has this "matched 3rd party content notice" next to it...

Should i ignore that? Because its a classical piece or well...a really ancient song that i thought was long sense expired copyright wise. I'd understand if i covered a modern song, but i cant imagine Franz Xaver Gruber has some label holding the rights to Silent Night!

Well, he's been dead for almost 150 years, which should make his material public domain in any country in the world.

The fly in the ointment is that you may be using a copyrighted *arrangement*.

Could I get some more talent in the monitors, please?

I know it sounds crazy, but try to learn to inhale your voice. www.thebelcantotechnique.com
