Ignore the title. The song is actually more like technical metalcore than anything else.

Hey T&C,

Here's a prog-ish metalcore thing that I've been working on over the past few days. Would like some thoughts on it. It's not entirely complete, as I will probably add vocals at some point, and I'm sure that I'll make some other changes to it. Anyway, I'd just like to know what some people thought of it, and any constructive criticism will be taken on board and probably acted upon. So yeah, thanks And C4C.

Thanks . Yeah, I've realised it isn't post-hardcore at all, but I can't do anything about it now, so oh well.

Pretty good ideas in this song, I agree that it's not post hardcore, but I don't think it could be called progressive either, except for the time signatures. I enjoyed it regardless!

Yeah, that was more like technical metalcore (I'll call it Technicore). Quite nice, mostly when the lead guitar came in. The last part gave off a slight egyptian vibe too, which I thought was quite nice.

Reminded me more of a thrash kinda thing. But was still kinda technical too. There were a few nice grooves too. I really dig technical breakdowns too so that was a plus. Nice job man, not what I'd normally listen too but still a good song.
