Eh, al jazeera is probably one of the better ones. Press TV if i remember was quite good.

You would say that, wouldn't you.

But if you read both Al Jazeera and Fox News you'll get a sort of approximation of the truth.

I'm not going to fight Zoot (HURR A ISRAELI WHO NOT WANT TO FAIT?! DURR). Not only because I don't like fighting, I also know that the fight won't serve any purpose, and won't change our opinions, and will just serve to make us both pissy.

Al Jazeera are biased as everything is, but they're less cringeworthy and pro west, which is all the mainstream media gives here, therefore it's worth viewing for an exposure of stuff that the bbc would not choose to report. In the same way russia today are the only people who give Chomsky a big interview.

-Local newspapers.
-The Daily Show (Yes, its comedy. But its also a great source of information).
-Wikipedia's "In The News" section.
-Other websites. (I like slashdot a lot, but you might be interested in a different kind of news).

The Daily Mirror is read by people who think they run the country;
The Guardian is read by people who think they ought to run the country;
The Times is read by people who actually do run the country;
the Daily Mail is read by the wives of the people who run the country;
the Financial Times is read by people who own the country;
The Morning Star is read by people who think the country ought to be run by another country;
The Daily Telegraph is read by people who think it is.
The Sun readers don't care who runs the country, as long as she's got big tits.

Just came to post this.

The solution is simple and obvious.

We revolt against ourselves. Mass suicide. The ultimate revolution.

I get a lot of my news from Al-Jazeera and Al-Arabiya. Then again I'm interested in what's going on in the Middle East, so that's the perspective I want. Give them a try if you're looking for something different.

Oh, and I read The Jerusalem Post on a fairly regular basis, but that's mostly for regional news.
