I've always wanted a fender '72 telecaster deluxe (hence why I bought the Deryck Whibley Signature)
Can I take the SX Furrian MN HH VWH repaint it, put a '72 telecaster neck on it, change the pots/knobs/bridge and pickups and make a '72 telecaster deluxe? I might have to drill a hole in the guitar to make the 3-bolt-neck-plate. and I might have to cover up the black plate under but that shouldn't be a problem after all I'm painting it black. will this work?

The SX is soo much cheaper so that's why I want to use it

I want to make a FULL replica and this thing is pretty close to the original specs. If I can't find a neck is there any way to print/paint the logo/label onto the headstock or can i just cut some paper out, cut the design out and paint onto the headstock wood?

I don't know why you want an EXACT replica... To make an exact replica you're going to need a new bridge, new knobs, new neck plate,
new neck ('72 deluxes used strat necks which meant fat headstock and curved heel) AND wide range humbuckers, which would be expensive plus aren't made to original specs anymore.

Oh, and painting the Fender name on a non-Fender guitar is illegal. Just pointing that out.
I pride myself on my humility.
