just hit everything at once and turn everything up to 10. should do the trick.

Oh and:

E|0
B|6
G|9
D|0
A|0
E|0

... but you probably never heard of playing metal in standard tuning.
I am the crack in the wall, The eye in the sky.
I am the final slumber, The great divide.
I am the silence in madness, That lies to your face,
My woe is accepted, 'tis the end of your race.

Use the Bungle chord, made up of the tritone, nothing heavier or uglier.

You've clearly never played a tone cluster on an 8 string.

If you poop on your guitar, it gets pretty sludgey and thick.

...modes and scales are still useless.

Get a guitar with a low B. Tune it down an octave. Hit the lowest tritones you can.

The first example involves single string melodies, the second is power chords.

And that's about it.
And no, Guitar Hero will not help. Even on expert. Really.

The most heavy is something I experimented with ages ago.

It's playing 2 pinch harmonics at the same time. There are a few in particular where the overtones are dissonant at so many places, you can almost hear the speaker breaking up.

The "Re-incarnation of Plato" Award 2009
(most intelligent)
The "Good Samaritan" Award 2009 (most helpful)
